JONESBORO, Ill. -- Lucille Hileman, 82, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at Jonesboro Healthcare Center. She was born Aug. 9, 1918, in Paragould, Ark., daughter of Charles E. and Arista Dooley Treece. She and Laurel Houston Anderson were married Jan. 9, 1936. He died in November 1941. She later married Ray Hileman in July 1961. He died in June 1972...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Lucille Hileman, 82, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at Jonesboro Healthcare Center.

She was born Aug. 9, 1918, in Paragould, Ark., daughter of Charles E. and Arista Dooley Treece. She and Laurel Houston Anderson were married Jan. 9, 1936. He died in November 1941. She later married Ray Hileman in July 1961. He died in June 1972.

Hileman had worked in the obstetrics department at Union County Hospital, and retired as a licensed practical nurse at Choate Mental Health Center. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Williams of Jonesboro; a son, L. Houston "Buddy" Anderson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three granddaughters; and four great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Hart officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
