Lucille Z. Davis, 95, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Monticello House.
She was born Feb. 18, 1917, at Neelys Landing, daughter of William B. and Bertha E. Farrow Meyer. She and Henry F. Davis were married Sept. 28, 1941.
Lucille was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge, where she formerly taught Sunday school, and was the former Sunday school secretary.
Loving survivors include her husband of 70 years; a son, Roger (Gail) Davis of Fenton, Mo.; a daughter, Marilyn (Raymond) Accola, of Fairbanks, Alaska; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five siblings, Nellie, twins Alfred and Grace, Marie, and Lucille's twin sister, Louise.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jon Sedgwick officiating. Interment will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
