Loyal Marvin Anderson, 48, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, May 26, 1999, in a vehicle accident on Interstate 95 near Yemassee, S.C.
He was born Aug. 30, 1950, in Clinton, Iowa. He and Sharon Kay Sanders were married April 9, 1977, in Salem, Ill.
Anderson was a truck driver with J.B. Hunt Transport Inc.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeffrey Anderson of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Nicole and Reba Anderson of Cape Girardeau; his mother, Norma Shirley of Maquoketa, Iowa; four sisters, Delores Ringen of Grand Mound, Iowa, Dannis Gates of Eleroy, Ill., Judy Davis of Maquoketa, and Debbie Turpin of Elwood, Iowa.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-7 p.m. Saturday.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Peach Tree Baptist Church Cemetery in Piedmont. The Rev. Arzie Ezell will officiate.
