PATTON -- Loya C. Crites, 76, of Patton, died Friday, Nov. 18, 1994, at Jackson Manor. He was born at Patton Jan. 20, 1918, son of Andrew and Dora Bollinger Crites. PATTON -- Loya C. Crites, 76, of Patton, died Friday, Nov. 18, 1994, at Jackson Manor.
He was born at Patton Jan. 20, 1918, son of Andrew and Dora Bollinger Crites.
He was a retired school custodian for the Lindbergh School District in St. Louis.
On Jan. 20, 1948, he married Virginia Garland. She preceded him in death.

He was a veteran the Army during World War II. He was member of the Post Oak Methodist Church at Patton.
He is survived by a son, Danny Crites of Patton; daughters, Gloria Lincoln of Marble Hill, Alice Crites of Las Vegas; and Vera Trautman of Searcy, Ark.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call today after 5 p.m. at the Liley Funeral home in Patton.
Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ray Mills officiating. Burial will be in Post Oak Church Cemetery. A military ceremony will be presented by VFW Post 5900 of Marble Hill.
