JACKSON, Mo. -- Loy Helderman, 78, of Jackson Manor died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, son of Era Tilton and Elizabeth Doggett Helderman.
Helderman was employed at Helderman Farms 57 years.

Survivors include a brother, Buford "Shorty" Helderman of Whitewater, Mo., and a sister, Ola Dell Watkins of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Clifton Trentham will officiate. Burial will be in McGuire Cemetery.
