Loy (Bill) E. Seabaugh, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Seabaugh, 73, was born in Sedgewickville, Mo., to Fred and Rettie Winkler Seabaugh on February 12, 1921. He married Ruby B. Niswonger on Feb. 14, 1948 in Tupelo, Miss. She survives.
Seabaugh, a veteran of World War II, worked 35 years as a truck driver for J.D. Street, until his retirement 12 years ago.
Seabaugh was of the Lutheran faith, and a member of the VFW Post 3838, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 574 and the Elks Club.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a stepson, Paul Corbin, of Carson City, Nev.; a stepdaughter, Betty Jean Wilson, of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. He was preceeded in death by one sister.
Friends may call the Mt. Auburn Chapel of Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau today from 4 - 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with burial following at Lormier Cemetery. The VFW will provide graveside rites.
