Louryce Lane

Louryce Gladys Lane, 84, of Jackson died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at Heartland Care and Rehab in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 29, 1928, in Frohna, Mo., to Fred and Hilda Koenig Rabold. She and Victor F. Lane were married Dec. 25, 1949. He died Jan. 25, 1999.

While her husband served in the military Louryce worked at hospitals in Maryland and Alaska. After moving to Jackson she worked at International Shoe Co.

She is survived by three sons, Ronald Lane of Sikeston, Mo., Ricky (Kelle) Lane of Jackson, Randy Lane of Old Appleton; three grandchildren, Alynda (Dustin) Smithey, Brandon Lane and Gary Lane.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.

A graveside service was held Saturday at Brazeau Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Bruce Owens officiating.

Arrangements were handled by Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.
