BENTON -- Louis Bles Shockley, 80, of Benton died Friday, May 21, 1999, at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tenn.
She was born June 24, 1918, at Flint, Mich., daughter of Edward and Clara Scherer Bles.
She and Glendon Shockley were married Sept. 9, 1972, at Clayton.
She was a retired teacher who formerly worked in the Hazelwood district.
Survivors include two sons, Doug Taylor of Bristol and Alan Taylor of Lewisville, Texas; a daughter, Elaine Crenshaw of Clarksville, Tenn; two brothers, Tom Bles of Phoenix, Ariz., and John Bles of Vinita, Okla; three sisters, Bertha Meyer of St. Louis, Margaret Whalen of Rockville, Md., and Mary Westrich of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A sister preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, with parish prayers said at 7 o'clock.
Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery
