CHAFFEE -- Louise Chronister, 81, of Chaffee, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1995, at Chaffee Nursing Center. She was born Feb. 27, 1914, in Chaffee, daughter of Henry and Stella D. Drinkard Campbell. She and L.L. "Lee" Chronister were married Dec. 25, 1934, in Chaffee. He died in September 1992...

CHAFFEE -- Louise Chronister, 81, of Chaffee, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1995, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 27, 1914, in Chaffee, daughter of Henry and Stella D. Drinkard Campbell. She and L.L. "Lee" Chronister were married Dec. 25, 1934, in Chaffee. He died in September 1992.

Chronister was a member of First Baptist Church, and past worthy matron of Chaffee Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons, James Chronister of Chaffee, Edward Chronister of Independence; a sister, Virginia Hunnott of Sikeston, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
