JEFFERSON CITY -- Tila "Louise" Carbaugh, 94 of Jefferson City, formerly of Scott City, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, in Jefferson City.
She was born Feb. 13, 1927, In Illmo to Louis Samuel and Barbara Allen Carroll LeTempt. She married Harry Curtis Carbaugh Sr. on June 12, 1943. He preceded her Jan. 3, 1998.
She is survived by a son, James Theodore "Ted" Carbaugh; three daughters, Harriet Louise Webb, Ruth Ann Carbaugh and Rebecca Sue Debrodie; seven grandchildren, Chris Webb, Trevor Carbaugh, Sue Ann Surface, Clayton Carbaugh, Sheldon McCarthy, Jason Carbaugh and Danielle Morris; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, with one on the way.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Harry Curtis Carbaugh Jr.; grandchild, Trenton Carbaugh; three brothers; and a sister.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Carbaugh officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
