PUXICO -- Funeral service for "Bill" Louise Atchison of Dupo, Ill., will be held at 11 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. Martin Sifford will officiate, with burial in Brown Cemetery near Puxico.

Atchison, 76, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 1996, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

She was born March 6, 1920, at Puxico, daughter of Larkin T. and Effie Luella Hartles Murphey. She and Johnnie Atchison were married March 23, 1946, at Puxico.

Atchison moved to St. Louis in 1955 from Puxico, and then moved to Dupo in 1956.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Trudy Clark of Dupo; two sisters, Lorraine Hay of Santa Ana, Calif., Geneva Sifford of Puxico; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a stepbrother and a stepsister.
