ADVANCE, Mo. -- Louisa Ellen Springman, 87, of Lowndes, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at the Greenville Health Center in Greenville, Mo.
She was born Dec. 29, 1913 in McGee, Mo., daughter of Herman L. and Francis McGee Payne.
She and Lester Springman were married July 5, 1968, in Hot Springs, Ark.
She was a member of Corinth General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Belva Tutt of Bethalto, Ill., Shelby Hitch of Camarillo, Calif., and Norma McGomery of Alton, Ill.; six brothers, Eugene Payne of Advance, Tommy Payne of Puxico, Richard Payne of Virginia Beach, Va., Odell Payne of Jefferson, Texas, Jerry Payne of Tulelake, Calif., and Roger Payne of Russelville, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Larry Underwood officiating. Burial will be in New Hope McGee Cemetery.
