DUTCHTOWN -- Funeral service for Louis E. Seabaugh of Robinson, Ill., was held Sunday at Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Robinson. The Rev. Jerry McDaniel officiated, with burial in Robinson New Cemetery.
Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson was in charge of arrangements.
Seabaugh, 82, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 1997, at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson.
He was born Nov. 14, 1914, in Dutchtown, son of Walker and Martha "Mattie" Lewis Seabaugh. He and Edna M. Ervin were married April 6, 1946.
Seabaugh retired as an electric welder with the railroad, and then retired from Alsip School System in 1980. He was a member of Highland Avenue Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Samuel Seabaugh of Killeen, Texas; a daughter, Jeanne Locke of Robinson; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
