CHAFFEE -- Louis Leroy Naeve, 57, of Chaffee died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 20, 1941, at Granite City, Ill., son of Louis and Edith Downing Naeve. He married Verla Marie Brotherton in August 1958.
Naeve was cutting room manager at Thorngate Ltd. in Cape Girardeau. He had lived in Chaffee since 1975, moving from Jackson.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Ron Naeve of Chaffee; two daughters, Connie Burks and Tammy Rains of Chaffee; a brother, Robert Naeve of St. Louis; a stepbrother, Ray Downing of Grandview; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandmother who helped raise him.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Joe Payne officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
