LILBOURN, Mo. -- Louis L.J. Johnson, 62, of Lilbourn died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born March 7, 1931, in Mississippi, son of Chillis and Caroline Johnson.
Johnson served as associate minister at New Life, New Beginning World Outreach Center.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip Johnson of Sikeston, Elgin Johnson of Cape Girardeau; seven daughters, Dorothy Pampkins of St. Louis, Minner Conners of Farmington, Mo., Norma Moore of New Madrid, Mo., Callina Robinson of Chicago, Gwendolyn Johnson of Lilbourn, Sonja Johnson of Parma, Mo., Francis Johnson of Essex, Mo.; a sister, Minnie Williams of Howardville, Mo.; 30 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and a son.
Friends may call after 12 p.m. Saturday at New Life, New Beginning World Outreach Center.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the center, with Nathaniel Green officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home at Howardville is in charge of arrangements.
