SCOTT CITY -- Louis C. Kalkbrenner, 101, of Pine Bluff, Ark., and formerly of Scott City, died Monday, June 26, 1995, at Davis Life Care in Pine Bluff.
He was born Feb. 17, 1894, in Edgewood, Ill., the son of Henry and Mary Koch Kalkbrenner. He married Mary Ada Brown in 1918. She preceded him in death.
He was a retired blacksmith with Cotton Belt Railroad. He also was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pine Bluff.
Survivors include a son, Louis Kalkbrenner of Beaumont, Texas; three daughters, Bettye Moore of Jonesboro, Ark., Dee Messmer of Scott City and Marjorie Vineyard of Owensville; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Ralph Robinson and Son Mortuary at Pine Bluff is in charge of arrangements.
