PARMA -- Funeral service for Lottie O. Baskin of Benton, Ky., will be held at 1 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Parma, with the Rev. John Lemmons officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma is in charge of arrangements.
Baskin, 93, died Thursday, July 20, 1995, at Brithaven Nursing Home in Benton, Ky.
She was born Oct. 12, 1901, in Puryear, Tenn., daughter of Robert and Orpha White Hendricks. She and Earl E. Baskin were married March 9, 1924, at Parma. He died Feb. 6, 1985.
Baskin was a teacher at New Hope School near Parma prior to her marriage. She lived in the Parma, Catron and Risco areas 70 years. She moved to Benton in 1985, to Granbury, Texas, in 1992, and back to Benton in 1994. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Parma.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Twomey of Benton, Jo Cato of Granbury; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
