Lottie L. Lowery, 82, 522 Good Hope, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born July 31, 1910, at Crowder, daughter of S.W. and Mary Wright Whitesell. She married Lester Lowery in 1933 at Benton. He died Feb. 25, 1975.
Lowery worked at Southeast Missouri State University, St. Mary's Catholic Church Rectory, and had been a cook in several restaurants. She was a member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church, its United Methodist Women and Day Circle.
Survivors include a son, Claude Lowery of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Ruth Bass of Norman, Okla.; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. James Dace will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m.
