Mary Mae Lottie Hanners, 98, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 1, 1908, at Dongola, Mo., daughter of Henry and Effie Schumake Revelle. She and Charley Hanners were married March 25, 1925. He passed away Aug. 8, 1988...

Mary Mae Lottie Hanners, 98, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 1, 1908, at Dongola, Mo., daughter of Henry and Effie Schumake Revelle. She and Charley Hanners were married March 25, 1925. He passed away Aug. 8, 1988.

Lottie was a cook at the former Roberts School near Jackson during the late 1940s. She was of the Methodist belief.

Loving survivors include a son, Charlie (Gloria) Hanners of Jackson; a daughter, Patsy (Charles) Terry of Jackson; three grandchildren, Scott Hanners of Omaha, Neb., Kent (Sharon) Hanners of St. Charles, Mo., and Janine (Dean) Neumann of St. Louis; and four great-grandchildren, Alison, Stephanie, Blake and Katelyn.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Interment will follow in Cook Cemetery at Scopus, Mo.

Memorials may be given in the form of contributions to the American Heart Association or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
