Lori Sue Emmons, 49, of Cape Girardeau, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020, at home.
She was born March 6, 1971, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Donald L. and Mary Sue Nenninger Emmons.
Lori was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau and worked as a registered nurse at the Missouri Veterans Home.
Survivors are her parent, Don and Mary Sue Emmons; sister, Jennifer (Jerry) Sadler; brother, Micah (Marcy) Emmons; sister, Charity (James) Bierschwal; nieces and nephews, Madison Swift, Nathan Sadler, Sophia Emmons, and Ayda Emmons; aunt, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Marvin and Opal Nenninger, and Eugene and Mildred Emmons, as well as several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cape Girardeau. Parish prayers will be at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Cathedral with the Rev. Allen Saunders officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery.
