Loretta Kitchen, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 17, 1939, in Carbon Hill, Alabama, to Jack and Reecee Godsey Enlow. She and Douglas Kitchen were married June 18, 1960, in Cape Girardeau.

Loretta had been a caregiver at nursing homes in the Cape Girardeau area.

Survivors include one son, Bryan Dale Kitchen of Houston; a daughter, Barbara Trickey of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Garfield Enlow of Indianapolis; a sister, Elora Parnell of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, Tanner Thorne of Cape Girardeau, Taylor Thorne of Jackson and Jeremy Kitchen, Cody Kitchen and Courtney Kitchen, all of Texas; and four great-grandchildren, Tye Thorne, Tayton Thorne, Kaylee Kitchen and Alexi Kitchen, with two more great-grandchildren on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Darryl Douglas Kitchen; two brothers, L.J. Enlow and Edsel Cheatham; and stepmother, Gracie Enlow.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Bishop Melvin Gattis officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given for the family's funeral expenses.
