PERRYVILLE -- Loretta G. Thompson, 77, of Perryville, died Tuesday, July 14, 1992, at American Care Center. She was born Jan. 25, 1915, at Millheim, daughter of August and Barbara Schott Weiss. He and Herman J. Thompson were married Sept. 15, 1935. He died March 19, 1975...

PERRYVILLE -- Loretta G. Thompson, 77, of Perryville, died Tuesday, July 14, 1992, at American Care Center.

She was born Jan. 25, 1915, at Millheim, daughter of August and Barbara Schott Weiss. He and Herman J. Thompson were married Sept. 15, 1935. He died March 19, 1975.

Thompson was retired from Biltbest Co. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella Circle 365, and Perry County Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Weiss of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and four sisters.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland. The Rev. Charles Herbst will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

There is no public visitation.
