Loretta Agnes Fellows, 78, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born Feb. 5, 1934, in Chicago to Travis Jackson and Ruby Agnes Friese Marshall. She and Floyd Oscar Fellows were married March 6, 1954, at Sedgewickville, Mo.

Loretta was a graduate of Jackson High School. She grew up in Sedgewickville and moved to Cape Girardeau in 1957 when she was married.

She worked in food service at the Cape Girardeau public schools, Kroger Co. and Southeast Missouri Hospital, from which she retired in November 1991.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd Oscar Fellows of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Thomas F. Fellows and James L. Fellows (Martha) of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Anna Fellows Reeder of Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren, Kurt and Melissa Fellows, Travis Fellows, Mason Anne Reeder; one brother, Jerry Marshall (Sue) of Jackson; and one sister-in-law, Mary Marshall of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Tom Marshall; and one sister, Shirley Marshall.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Vincent and the Rev. Dale Huff officiating.

Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Southeast Hospice.
