Lorene C. Pound Roland, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at her home. She was born Nov. 11, 1944, in St. Louis to Edward and Louise Buckley Pound. She and Robert "Bob" Roland were married Jan. 17, 1975, in St. Louis. Survivors include her husband; five nieces, Denise (Jerry) Grant, Tracy (Todd) Bergjans, Jennifer Stegmann, Carissa (Jimmy) Homeier and Karen (Mitch) Weintraub; two sisters-in-law, Jody (Tom) Nowotny and Eileen Pound; three great-nieces; and three great-nephews...

Lorene C. Pound Roland, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at her home.

She was born Nov. 11, 1944, in St. Louis to Edward and Louise Buckley Pound. She and Robert "Bob" Roland were married Jan. 17, 1975, in St. Louis.

Survivors include her husband; five nieces, Denise (Jerry) Grant, Tracy (Todd) Bergjans, Jennifer Stegmann, Carissa (Jimmy) Homeier and Karen (Mitch) Weintraub; two sisters-in-law, Jody (Tom) Nowotny and Eileen Pound; three great-nieces; and three great-nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 18, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial service will be at noon Saturday, Feb. 18, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Seabaugh officiating.
