PERRYVILLE -- Lorene Linebarger, 80, of Salem, died at her home Monday, Dec. 7, 1992. She was born Dec. 4, 1912, at Crosstown, daughter of Jules and Caroline Weinkein Prost. She married Troy Linebarger, who preceded her in death in 1985. Survivors include a son, James Linebarger of Orlando, Fla.; five daughters, Virginia Schnurbusch of Perryville, Shirley Layton of Canton, Mich, Joyce Thompson of Edgar Springs, Joan Gray of Salem, Rosemary Sturm of St. ...

PERRYVILLE -- Lorene Linebarger, 80, of Salem, died at her home Monday, Dec. 7, 1992.

She was born Dec. 4, 1912, at Crosstown, daughter of Jules and Caroline Weinkein Prost. She married Troy Linebarger, who preceded her in death in 1985.

Survivors include a son, James Linebarger of Orlando, Fla.; five daughters, Virginia Schnurbusch of Perryville, Shirley Layton of Canton, Mich, Joyce Thompson of Edgar Springs, Joan Gray of Salem, Rosemary Sturm of St. Louis; three brothers, Oliver Prost of Chicago, Val Prost of Siloam Springs, Ark., Allen Prost of Perryville; 22 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Leonard Chambers will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. today at James & Gahr Funeral Home at Salem.

Miller Family Funeral Home here is in charge of local arrangements.
