LORENE JACKSON

DELTA -- Funeral service for Lorene Jackson of Delta will be held at 2 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. David Jackson will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jackson, 84, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 16, 1910, daughter of James Lee and Effie Mae McElreath Stroder. She and Walter Jackson were married Jan. 15, 1930. He died March 21, 1983.

Jackson was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church and Delta Senior Citizens.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Jackson of Jonesboro, Ill., Eugene and Jackie Jackson of Delta; a daughter, Pauline Tonsor of East Peoria, Ill.; a brother, Floyd Lee Stroder of Chaffee; two sisters, Pearl McManus of Delta, Gladys Stovall of Lebanon, Mo.; 21 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and great-granddaughter.
