SWANSEA, Ill. -- Lorene A. Irwin, 84, of O'Fallon, Ill., died Friday, June 27, 2008, at the Rosewood Care Center in Swansea. She was born Jan. 3, 1924, in Messler, Mo.

Lorene was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and retired from Travelers Insurance as the supervisor of the automobile department.

Lorene is survived by her husband, Walter G. Irwin of O'Fallon; a daughter, JoNell (Lesley) Zanders of O'Fallon; two granddaughters, Mitzi Zanders of Belleville, Ill., and Renee (Danny) Neuner of O'Fallon; and three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Torri and Casey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nellie (Hartle) Anthony; two brothers, Earl and Harold Anthony; and a sister, Irene Kuehle.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Church, 520 E. Highway 50 in O'Fallon.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Church, with the Revs. Robert Downs and Freda Snyder officiating.

Burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Ill.
