PERKS, Ill. -- Lorene Hefner, 70, of Perks died Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at Good Samaritan Care Center in Metropolis.
She was born May 26, 1929, in Pulaski County, daughter of Joseph and Birdie Harmon Spurlock. She married Clarence Hefner, who preceded her in death.
Hefner was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Scott and Kenny Hefner of Perks, Randy Hefner of Coffeen; two sisters, Lois Schnaare of Brookport, Virginia Kerley of Metropolis; a brother, Barnard Spurlock of Karnak; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak from 5-7:30 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeff Anders officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
