Lora B. Walker, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born March 10, 1912, at Plattin, Mo., daughter of William Ellis and Edna Koester Porter. She married the Rev. John H. Walker, who died July 31, 2002.
Walker was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and life member of United Methodist Women. She was formerly of Festus, Mo.
Survivors include three daughters, Janet Glaser of San Diego, Calif., Annabel Gilhaus of Cape Girardeau, Alice Harnes of Advance, Mo.; three brothers, John Porter of Hazelwood, Mo., Julian Porter of Jefferson City, Mo., Robert Porter of St. Charles, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Friends may call at Centenary United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Jeff Long officiating. Burial will be in Presbyterian/Methodist Cemetery at Festus.
Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus is in charge of arrangements.
