Lora E. Schuette Voges, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 19, 1904, in Charleston, Mo., daughter of William and Minnie Babb Bryant.
She married Lloyd A. Schuette Dec. 3, 1924, in Cape Girardeau. He died July 16, 1961. She then married Albert Voges in 1962 at Jackson, Mo. He died July 15, 1967.
She had worked 33 years at International Shoe and 20 years at Holiday Inn in housekeeping. She was a member of Maple United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Loren Schuette of Cape Girardeau; a stepson, Leonard Voges of California; a stepdaughter, LaWanda Gorton of Jackson; three grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 13 great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two stepdaughters, a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Kuehle officiating.
Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
