Lora May Ross, 86, 917 S. Sprigg, died Tuesday, July 19, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born May 25, 1908, in Bollinger County, daughter of Nez and Lou Kitchen Greer. She and Charles H. Ross were married May 20, 1926, at Jackson. He died Dec. 29, 1971...

Lora May Ross, 86, 917 S. Sprigg, died Tuesday, July 19, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born May 25, 1908, in Bollinger County, daughter of Nez and Lou Kitchen Greer. She and Charles H. Ross were married May 20, 1926, at Jackson. He died Dec. 29, 1971.

Ross was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Charles W. Ross of Jackson; a daughter, Patsy Ross of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Fern Fletcher of Seattle, Wash.; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. The Revs. Alan Berry and Thomas Morris will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
