Lora Mae Dean, 78, of Sacramento, Calif., died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, at Kleiser South Hospital in Sacramento. She was born Sept. 25, 1925, in St. Louis, daughter of Chester D. and Addie Mae Watkins Lemonds. Dean worked in housekeeping most of her life. Lora Mae Dean, 78, of Sacramento, Calif., died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, at Kleiser South Hospital in Sacramento.

She was born Sept. 25, 1925, in St. Louis, daughter of Chester D. and Addie Mae Watkins Lemonds.

Dean worked in housekeeping most of her life. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Sacramento. She was formerly of Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Raymond Dean of Scott City; a brother, Chester Lemonds of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Ruby Niehart of Cape Girardeau, Joan Jones, address unknown, Dorothy Lemonds of North Port, Fla.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

There is no visitation or service.

Burial will be in Acacia Memorial Gardens in Modesto, Calif.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
