HOWARDVILLE -- Lonnie B. Partee of Howardville died Thursday, May 21, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was 66.
He was born March 4, 1932, in Dorena, son of Elgin and Atlean Young Partee. They preceded him in death. He was one of 21 children.
He married Rose Wilderness on May 22, 1963. She survives.
He was a member of True Holiness Church of God in Christ in Lilbourn and retired from Noranda Aluminum Inc. in 1994 after 23 years.
Also surviving are three sons, Jerome Wilderness of Gary, Ind., Donnell Wilderness of South Bend, Ind., and Jedeary Wilderness of Howardville; three daughters, Betty Green of Memphis, Tenn., Retha Partee of Howardville and Doris Jean Partee of Columbus, Ohio; six brothers, Perry Partee, Joseph Partee and Charles Partee, all of Portageville; Elgin Partee Jr. and Willie Partee, both of St. Louis; and Robert Partee of Yazoo, Miss; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the New Life, New Beginning World Outreach Center, C.O.G.I.C. in Lilbourn. Funeral will be held at noon Wednesday at the church, with Elder Nathaniel Green officiating.
Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
