CHAFFEE -- Loman A. Duniphan, 63, of Chaffee, died Tuesday, July 28, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 18, 1928, at McGee, son of Buford and Mary Morgan Duniphan. He and Jean Humphreys were married July 12, 1946, in Piggott, Ark.
Duniphan had worked for Frisco Railroad, and retired after 40 years as conductor with Burlington Northern Railroad. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kent Duniphan of Imperial, Steve Duniphan of Burfordville; two daughters, Cinda Hall of Salt Lake City, Utah, Stacy Weeb of St. Clair; his parents of McGee; a brother, Elwin Duniphan of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Bertie Farmer of Grand Prairie, Texas, Charlotte Beck of West Virginia, and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4:30-9 p.m. today., and at First Baptist Church in Chaffee after noon on Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Charlie Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
