Lola Thomason, 85, daughter of the late William and Alma Liley Miller, was born Oct. 16, 1936, in Bessville, Missouri, and departed her life Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021 at her residence in Chaffee, Missouri.
Lola was of the Baptist faith.
She formerly worked at Classic Tan and Fitness Center in Chaffee. Her nickname at the center was "The Warden."
On March 13, 1956, she was united in marriage to Jerry Dale Thomason in Mississippi. He preceded her in death Feb. 22, 2012.
Survivors include a son, Jeff (Kathy) Thomason of Chaffee; two daughters, Carla (Tim) Daniels of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Anita Thomason of Chaffee; brother, Carl Miller of Marble Hill, Missouri; two sisters, Margie Lee and Mandy Stone, both of Chaffee; 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Dale Thomason Jr.; brother, Bob Miller; and two sisters, Alta Eaker and Zola Kirkpatrick.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
