SWINTON, Mo. -- Lola M. Pate, 95, of Greenville, Ill., died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at Fair Oaks Nursing Center in Greenville.
She was born June 5, 1906, at Swinton, daughter of Thomas and Elsie Eaker Fowler. She and Clarence S. Pate were married in 1920 at Bloomfield. He died March 5, 1981.
Pate was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Advance, Mo.
Survivors include four sons, J.W. Pate of Albuquerque, N.M., Ivan Pate of Myrtle Creek, Ore., Jack Pate of Greenville, S.C., Denver Pate of Raiford, Fla.; three daughters, Odetta Bradley of Carson City, Nev., Janet Astrino of Sandia Park, N.M., Evelyn Brumett of Advance; a sister, Othela Tanner of O'Fallon, Mo.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, an infant daughter, two brothers, and a sister.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 9-11 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
