ADVANCE -- Lola E. Evans, 87, of Advance died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Jan. 18, 1911, at Zalma, daughter of Ranzy and Callie Lemons Randolph. She married Thurman Evans on Oct. 11, 1930, at Marble Hill. He died Aug. 27, 1964...

ADVANCE -- Lola E. Evans, 87, of Advance died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 18, 1911, at Zalma, daughter of Ranzy and Callie Lemons Randolph.

She married Thurman Evans on Oct. 11, 1930, at Marble Hill. He died Aug. 27, 1964.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Advance.

She is survived by a son, Treniss Evans of Dexter; two daughters, Evalene Kolve and Norma Jean Lucas, both of Wappapello; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
