LOLA DOROTHY GHOLSON

Lola Dorothy Gholson of 2524 Albert Rasche died Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998, at the Lutheran Home. She was 82.

She was born May 29, 1915, in Illmo, daughter of Paul C. and Hattie E. Bretzel Eifert. She married Beaumont C. Gholson on May 18, 1946. He died July 30, 1997.

She was a seamstress for Ely Walker Co., moving to Cape Girardeau from St. Louis 11 years ago. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by a son, Gary Gholson of Tucson, Ariz.; three brothers, Paul Eifert Jr. of Chaffee, Raymond Eifert of Scott City and Charles Eifert of Jackson; and a sister, Myrtle Mayfield of Sikeston.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Paul Short officiating.

Burial will be in Eisleben Lutheran Cemetery in Scott City.
