Lola Mae Allen, 85, of Millersville passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, at her daughter's home.
She was born May 14, 1920, in Grassy, Mo., daughter of Elizabeth Guinn. She and Lloyd Allen were married March 30, 1946, in Jackson. He passed away March 20, 1993.
Allen was a member of Christ Gospel Church of Millersville. She worked for the former Deal Nursing Home in Jackson for 15 years and delivered the Southeast Missourian for seven years on the Fredericktown route.
Loving survivors include a son, Lloyd Richard "Pete" Allen; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Jim Dudley, all of Millersville; four grandchildren, Lola Christine (Garry) Stone of Jackson, Jerry Lee Self Jr., John Ezra McCarter IV, Amanda Dawn Carter, all of Millersville; five great-grandchildren, Angel and Dylan Stone, Hunter Borgfield, Jodie Stone, Lacie Cook; a great-great-grandson, Kody Singleton.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Newell officiating.
Interment will follow in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Grassy.
