Lois Ann Seabaugh was called to her heavenly home Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, after a valiant struggle with pancreatic cancer for over a year.

She is most remembered for her buoyant spirit, unyielding faith, love of traveling and sharing a laugh and a good story. Lois was a native of Cape Girardeau, born July 5, 1944, to Clarence T. and Lydia Ann Schlegel Seabaugh. She graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1963.

She worked at Procter & Gamble for 24 years, where she was recognized by the company CEO for her professional dedication. She worked to improve products, educate fellow employees and perform technical troubleshooting of line operations. She considered her co-workers at P&G to be family and frequently organized the fun at team picnics and other gatherings. She especially loved kids and often referred to herself as "just a big kid."

She retired from P&G in 1993 to care for her elderly parents. After caring for her parents, Lois went back to work keeping the laundry in order at Health Point Fitness, where she shared her optimism with every member she served for nine years.

Wherever she went, Lois treated people like family and always had a story and a good laugh to share.
