LOIS M. EDWARDS

DEXTER -- Funeral service for Lois Marie Edwards of Dexter will be held at 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Revs. Chester Smith and Gerald King will officiate, with burial in Hill Cemetery near here.

Edwards, 58, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 1994, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 19, 1936, at Dexter, daughter of Lester and Mildred R. Hudgens Stoker. She and Martin Edwards were married April 7, 1957, in Hernando, Miss.

Edwards was a cook at Dexter High School until retiring due to ill health. She was a member of Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church near Dexter.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Angela Boyt and Sharon Alsup of Dexter; her father of Dexter; four brothers, Jim, Gene, Lonnie and Robert Stoker of Dexter; Five sisters, Marge Rickman and Pat Moore of Dexter, Janice McCollom and Rachel Weaver of Bloomfield, Kay Williams of Dana Point, Calif., and two grandsons.
