PERRYVILLE -- Lodus L. Pingel Faverty, 80, of Arnold, formerly of Perryville, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 1994, at St. Mary's Hospital in Clayton.
She was born Feb. 4, 1914, at Crosstown, daughter of Henry Lonnie and Lydia Wadsworth Corse. She first married Steve Pingel, who died Dec. 25, 1974. She later married Leonard Faverty.
Faverty retired as a salesclerk at Sears. She was a former member of Bethlehem Baptist Church at Crosstown.
Survivors include a son, Richard Pingel of Bowling Green, Ky.; a daughter, Pauline Huber of Arnold; a sister, Verna Preston of St. Peters; two brothers, Malcolm Corse of St. Louis, Kenneth Corse of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today, and 6:30 a.m. to service time Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Alvin Mathes officiating. Burial will be in Crosstown Baptist Cemetery.
