LLOYD W. LONDON

DIX, Ill. -- Lloyd W. London, 76, of Dix, died Monday, June 17, 1996, at the Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mount Vernon.

He was born Feb. 21, 1920, in Cape Girardeau, son of Chester and Artie "Tilley" London. He and Dorothy Kinnison were married on July 7, 1946, in Appleton.

London was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dwayne London of Morris and Kenny London of Elroy, Wisc.; one brother, J.T. London of Vancouver, Wash.; one sister, Aline Heath of Texas; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Grant Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Grove Cemetery.
