BRIDGETON -- Lloyd Henry Bollinger, 70, of Bridgeton, died Wednesday, April 1, 1992, at DePaul Health Center here.
He was born May 6, 1921, at Bell City, son of James Elonzo and Grace Loftin Bollinger. He and Ruby M. Patterson were married in 1946 at Bell City.
Bollinger was a retired truck driver with McDonnell Douglas Corp. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and received the Purple Heart and Good Conduct Metal.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Lloyd Bollinger Jr. of Bridgeton; two sisters, Gladys Moore of Jackson, Martha Rasmussen of Florissant; a brother, Roy Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a brother and infant sister.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Alexander and Sons Funeral Home in St. Ann, with burial in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
