Lloyd C. Likens, 92, 504 Helena, died Friday, June 16, 1995, at his home. He was born Sept. 22, 1902, in Westernport, Md., son of Elkany and Cora Bobo Likens. He and Vivian Marie Davis were married Sept. 24, 1922, in Benton, Ill. She died in December 1973...

Lloyd C. Likens, 92, 504 Helena, died Friday, June 16, 1995, at his home.

He was born Sept. 22, 1902, in Westernport, Md., son of Elkany and Cora Bobo Likens. He and Vivian Marie Davis were married Sept. 24, 1922, in Benton, Ill. She died in December 1973.

Likens had been in the heating and air conditioning business. He moved to Cape Girardeau 65 years ago from Philadelphia, Pa. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, John "Bill" Likens of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Jane Boyd of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Elsie Strong and Vauda Taylor of Westernport; nine grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Gallamore officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
