Farley, 73, died Monday, Nov. 25, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born May 7, 1923, at Portageville, son of Luther and Lula Viola Simmons Farley. He and Ruth Everet were married in 1944. She died in 1993.

Farley had been a golf course groundskeeper at Valley Park. He had lived in Sikeston four years.

Survivors include five nephews and three nieces.
