Lisa Michelle Sexton, 43, of Red Oak, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, at the home of her mother in Jasper, Mo.

She was born June 9, 1964, in Oklahoma City, daughter of David L. and Betty J. Blankenship Dysinger. She and Sidney James Sexton were married April 23, 1983, at Miller, Mo.

Sexton attended Miller High School and was a 1982 graduate of Jackson High School. She had worked at Mickey Owens Baseball School in Miller, McCune Brooks Hospital in Carthage, Mo., was a cook 10 years at Miller Middle School, and was currently kitchen supervisor at Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Nathan Sexton of Red Oak, Jamie Sexton of Miller; her father of Jackson; her mother and stepfather, Betty and Al Ashton of Jasper; two brothers, Jeffrey Dysinger of Minneapolis, Matthew Dysinger of Carthage; two sisters, Rebecca Kimbel and Jennifer Miller of Jackson; maternal grandmother, Nellie Blankenship of Carthage.

Also two stepbrothers, Keith Ashton of Dadeville, Mo., Kenneth Ashton of Clarksville, Tenn.; two stepsisters, Kimberly Evans of Willard, Mo., Kathy Tobin of Virginia Beach, Va.; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Chaplain Danny Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Sycamore Cemetery.
