MARBLE HILL -- Lisa J. Garland, 34, of Marble Hill died Thursday, May 25, 2000, at her home.
She was born Dec. 14, 1965, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ransom "Mann" and Maedean Cook Garland.
Garland was a nurse with Cape Girardeau Physician Associates. She had been an Emergency Room nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital and also with LifeBeat for several years.
She attended Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church, and was a member of Missouri League of Nursing.
Survivors include her mother of Marble Hill; two brothers, Jerry and Billy Garland of Marble Hill; two sisters, Velda Doggett of Sedgewickville and Judy Liley of Marble Hill, and a godchild, Brittney Spencer of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Betty Schmitt.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Steven Sander and the Rev. Jimmy Fulbright will officiate. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Church Cemetery near Marble Hill.
