Linda L. Wyatt, 54, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 28, 1960, in Kennett, Missouri, to Carl and Dorothy Breuning Wulfers. Linda and Jeffrey M. Wyatt were married Dec. 17, 1982, at Cape Girardeau.
Linda was a special-education teacher for 28 years. She taught at Chaffee, Flat River Central, West County, Woodland, Oran and Perryville. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.
She was a mother to many, a loving friend, an inspiration to her students and a wonderful Meemaw to little Ellie. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Linda always had a smile, a good sense of humor and it will never be forgotten.
Survivors include her loving husband, Jeff Wyatt of Cape Girardeau; son, Thomas (Lindsey) Wyatt of Camdenton, Missouri; daughter, Carly Wyatt of Marble Hill, Missouri; mother, Dorothy of Cape Girardeau; brother, Mark Wulfers of Traverse City, Michigan; sister, Carla Wulfers of St. Clair, Missouri; and granddaughter, Eloise Wyatt of Camdenton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Wulfers, and three sons, Paul, Tyler and Evan Wyatt.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with Father John Harth officiating.
Memorial donations may be given to the St. Louis Children's Hospital.
