MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Linda Leu Shell, 62, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at her home. She was born April 2, 1942, in Kankakee, Ill., daughter of John Myrl and Leota Speer Harris. She and Waymond Shell were married Aug. 30, 1958, at Lutesville, Mo. He died June 28, 2000...

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Linda Leu Shell, 62, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at her home.

She was born April 2, 1942, in Kankakee, Ill., daughter of John Myrl and Leota Speer Harris. She and Waymond Shell were married Aug. 30, 1958, at Lutesville, Mo. He died June 28, 2000.

Shell had worked in the St. Charles County, Mo., Assessor's Office. She moved to Marble Hill 12 years ago from St. Charles, Mo. She was a member of Marble Hill Church of Christ and Marble Hill Study Club.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy Shell of Marble Hill, Anthony Shell of St. Charles, a sister, Betty Sitzes of Glenallen, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Homer Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
